Located opposite the train station, the Golden Tulip Lion d'Or is a perfect base for visits to the racing track at Zandvoort or the popular North Sea beaches of Bloemendaal and Zandvoort. Avoid traffic jams on the hottest days and take the train to the busiest race and dance events on the shore. From our hotel it will take you no more than 15 minutes.
A nice family attraction is the Linnaeushof in the nearby town of Bennebroek, Europe's biggest family playground with over 350 games and attractions. Also check on our special family rooms.
The area is also renowned for its many first rang golf courses, including the Kennemer Golf & Country Club, Haarlemmermeersche Golfclub, Golfclub Houtrak.
